Want Want Want

Blue Fluffy Jumper - Topshop
Baby Lips - Maybelline
Pink Backpack - Fjallraven Kanken
New Balance U420 - Office
Origins GinZing Moisturizer - Boots

This fluffy pale blue jumper from Topshop is just too cute, I want it so much!! I've always loved fluffy jumpers and coats, and I picked up this fluffy tee from Topshop a few weeks ago, but now I want the jumper too! They also have it in pink, but I can't make up my mind which one I like more.. So whilst I make up my mind, and wait for the weather to get a little bit nippier, as to justify buying a jumper in August, this jumper will stay firmly at the top of my wish list! Moving onto Maybelline's Baby Lips. Well aren't these little lip balms on everybody's wish list!? They are available to buy online, but they have yet to reach shops. I will wait a little longer so I can test them out and decide which ones I want. As you probably know, I am somewhat of a lip balm enthusiasts due to having really dry lips, so I am pretty excited about trying out Baby Lips! This pink Kanken Backpack is just so sweet, I love the colour! I am a little reluctant to purchase this though as they are quite expensive, I am scared it will take my toddler-chic to a new level aaaand I already have my leather backpack. However when I look at it I remember why I want it, I just don't know! Next up, the trainers! My boyfriend thinks these New Balance trainers are really ugly, but I want them so badly!! I'm not really a trainer person, I am usually always in leather boots/shoes, and the only pairs I own are some bright pink Nikes for running at uni and some high top Nikes I got ages ago and hardly ever wear. However, I am for some strange reason obsessed with these New Balance trainers! They don't have my size in any of the shops I've looked in so far, so maybe we are not meant to be.. but I will carry on searching! Lastly we come to the Origins GinZing Moisturizer. I've heard lots of good things about this moisturiser, and the brand generally, and although it isn't as expensive as some high end skin care, it is still out of my price range! But it's something I want to try, and see if it lives up to all the hype. So there you go, the tip of the iceberg in terms of things I want. What are you lusting after at the moment?

Review: Nip + Fab Bust Fix & Mango Smoothie Dry Skin Fix

Nip + Fab:
Bust Fix Sample Size - Free With Cosmo
Mango Smoothie Dry Skin Fix - £2.99 in Savers (retails for £8.49 in boots!)

I had been meaning to try some Nip + Fab products for ages, with the bust fix sitting, rather firmly, at the top of my list. Having read many reviews by bloggers and in magazines that this product actually made their breasts a lot perkier, and some even said bigger, I definitely wanted to give it a go. However, the £16 price tag put me off, even though I'm one to splash out on a quality product, I had no idea if this would even work on me, and £16 is a lot of money to pay for something like this. However, in the space of one week, I stumbled upon not one, but two fantastic Nip + Fab bargains which allowed me to get my hands on some of their products without the expensive price tag! When I spotted that Cosmopolitan Magazine were giving away one of three sample size Nip + Fab products; Body Glow, Leg Fix and Bust Fix, I of course searched every supermarket and W H Smith until I found an issue with a free bust fix mini (it seemed to be the rarest one!). I have been using it for about a week now, and although the directions say use twice daily, I must admit I struggle to remember! So far I haven't noticed much of a difference, but I will continue using this product, and see if I think it's worth buying the full price one once I've finished the sample size. And then we come to my second bargain, the Mango Smoothie Dry Skin Fix! This was such a surprise as I wasn't even on the look out for more Nip + Fab products, and it was only a day after getting the free Bust Fix that I spotted this! I was in my local Savers looking for some essentials (which it is absolutely brilliant for!) when I saw the whole range of Nip + Fab body butters including Cherry Tarte, Pistachio Sundae and Coconut Latte for only £2.99 each. I couldn't believe how cheap they were, as I'd seen them for more than double that price in boots! I was immediately drawn to the Mango Smoothie one, as mango is one of my favourite fruits and I think it smells delicious! In terms of consistency, it's much more like a lotion than a butter I'd say, and is no where near as solid as the body butters from The Body Shop. The smell is nice but a little bit on the synthetic side, again in comparison to The Body Shop, which smells more fresh to me. It's good at moisturising, but it's nothing amazing, but I don't have a problem with very dry skin so that's not really a issue for me! As this body butter doesn't have any firming qualities I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is, but with my thrifty shopping, this bargain is totally worth £2.99! Grab a copy of Cosmopolitan Magazine this month for your free Nip + Fab product, or head over to a Savers to check out their deals! Have you found any good beauty bargains recently worth shouting about?

I Won The ShopStyle Festival Shopping Challenge!

First of all I just want to say a massive SORRY for a complete lack of blogging these last two weeks!! I've been a little busy.. (although it's really no excuse!)
As you may or may not have heard, I was announced as the overall winner of the festival shopping challenge, which was a competition run by ShopStyle and judged by Natasha at Girl In The Lens, giving bloggers the chance to win a massive £1000 towards their summer wardrobe! And I just happened to be that lucky blogger!!! When I found out I had won I was so excited, especially as I had seen such great entries by other bloggers, including my very good friend Claire of Glad Rags LDN, who I am going to Latitude with this year! This is the winning look I created for the festival shopping challenge (and you can find my original entry by clicking here):

Of course I have been keeping rather busy, hitting the shops on the search for the best summer pieces to complete my festival look. And with only 4 days left until Latitude I am so excited to show you all my festival style, and what I have purchased so far with my winnings! This was just a quick blog post to update you all, and I'll be posting all my outfits from Latitude, and of course all the highlights from the festival upon my return!

Drinks At The Udderbelly Outside Bar At Southbank

Me and Phoebe at the Udderbelly outside bar on London's Southbank

Ever wondered what that giant, purple, upside-down, cow tent that's been popping up behind the London Eye every summer for the last 5 years is all about!? Well, The Udderbelly Festival at Soutbank Centre is a pop-up venue featuring the best in new comedy, theatre, music and cabaret, running from mid April until mid July. What with festival season in full swing, this little slice of festival features a little forest section where drinks can be enjoyed under paper lanterns, which is where my friend Phoebe and I sat, on little mushroom stools. We also went to the bar outside the cabaret section, where you can sit in little bumber cars, which were really cool. The Udderbelly Festival is so cute, and the perfect place to bring a date to watch something interesting then have a drink or two at the outside bar! To check out what's on at the Udderbelly Festival, look on their website here.
